Electronic Repair Technician - Cincinnati, OH - Staff Management SMX

Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties, effect repairs, and adjustments either temporary to keep machine in production or, if required and feasible, effect permanent repairs Assist to rebuild machines and overhaul troublesome components and attachments Perform fitting and aligning of bearings, spindles, and shafts, and adjustments of feeding and limit mechanisms, gibs and ways Assist with the installation of new and the relocation of existing equipment.

Industry: Manufacturing.

Duties: Design circuitry by selecting proper components to perform desired functions Modify and fabricate a variety of electrical/electronic equipment from schematics and sketches Troubleshoot PLC program logic for machine control functions Install, maintain, calibrate and repair plant equipment Read blueprints, instructions and schematics Follow standardized methods of work Knowledge of the principles and techniques of digital and analog applied electronics Must take a respirator fit test and be willing to be certified in first aid and CPR.

Employment Types: Full Time.

Work Location: SMX @ Allegion Steelcraft, 9017 Blue Ash Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45242.

Job Types: Assembly, Equipment Operator, Machine Operator, Manufacturing, Warehouse.

Shifts: 2nd Shift.

Attributes: Background Check, Drug Test.

Lifting Requirements: Able to Lift 50 pounds.

Education Required: HS Diploma or GED.

Starting Wage: $28.03.

Pay Rate: $28.03 per hour.

Required Skills:
Knowledge of electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Ability to weld using arc, gas and mig welding equipment Ability to work from wiring diagrams and specifications Ability to interpret electrical, electronic, and mechanical specifications and manuals Ability to construct, calibrate, maintain, and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical devices and equipment Must have a minimum of 5 years maintenance experience Must successfully complete testing process
