Production Supervisor - Nights
The Shift Supervisor is a site management representative. The position will ensure adequate communication is maintained between operating business units, contractors, customers and outside regulatory agencies. This position with also ensure adherence to company policies and procedures including safety, environmental, sanitation, work quality standards, management and production.
Work Schedule: Shifts of 12 hours in duration
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
-Provide supervision to production operations and personnel.
-Coaching, development, training and management support to the operations team within the facility such that the goals of the organization are achieved. Oversee employee issues and concerns. Ensure employee engagement. Manage overall facility emergency response & operations, including troubleshooting on rotating shifts to meet customer needs and ensure compliance with all EHS requirements.
-Assist with monitoring product quality, product inventories, production rates, delivery schedules & coordinating/prioritizing of emergency maintenance resources.
-Able to perform as HAZMAT incident commander. Must be able to develop basic operational understanding of all operating departments.
-Coordinate/allocate site utilities in the event of a process upset or curtailment.
-Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
-A High school degree (or equivalent) with 4, or more years, of experience in operations, production or similar environment.
-Must be able to work a 12-hour rotating shift, including willingness to work additional hours if necessary.-
-Willingness/ability to work in a challenging and physical production/industrial environment.
-Effective written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to work effectively under pressure, adverse conditions and handle multiple priorities.

-Prior experience with Maintenance and Reliability.
