This position will develop marketing communications tools in support of the Timken Belts business unit to communicate key marketing messages to the marketplace while working with Sales and Marketing management to support growth strategies. Responsible for integrating and leveraging communications using appropriate advertising, sales promotion and/or publicity tactics developed internally by the individual or awarded to external agency resources.
Maintain marketing assets and data to support Timken marketing platforms to ensure accurate and relevant content for customers and end users. Gather and analyze data associated with marketing initiatives to realize maximum impact, assess ROI and guide future growth.
Manage literature, websites, apps and other projects which would include the task of: Working with technical and sales teams to gather information, compile content, create fresh and accurate written communications, create and oversee design and execution within the company's brand guidelines, manage printing or publishing messaging within the time frame and budget required
Responsible for planning, coordinating and executing offsite events, meetings and tradeshows requiring logistics, booth preparation, shipping, and collateral coordination including onsite/hands-on management as needed
Recommend and develop sales and marketing tools for use in various platforms to support growing and evolving product offering
Support training initiatives both internally and externally to support new products, tools or initiatives, including but not limited to PowerPoint presentations, coordinated WebEx training and onsite/offsite training events
Monitor and maintain measurable data associated with marketing initiatives including but not limited to websites, events, co-op advertising, mobile apps, special programs, product launches and editorial exposure
Project Support and Execution:
- Support market and program managers as needed to enable growth opportunities.
- Support go-to-market and new product launch projects
- Lead small individual projects related to market growth or development
- Execute wide range of tasks related to support of sales team and marketing initiatives, both internal and external
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience
- In lieu of degree, 12 years of progressive experience marketing
