What is an Associate Service Engineer?
The Associate Service Engineer is responsible for providing engineering and product support to various internal and external customers. This position will allow you to apply your technical knowledge and expertise to solve our customer's problems - hands-on.
Associate service engineers will participate in a comprehensive 6-month training program based at our World Headquarters in North Canton, Ohio. Our training program is one of the most respected in the industry and prepares you for future success. Through classroom and on-the-job training, you will become the expert in the technical skills required to solve customer problems.
Upon completion of the training program, you will be assigned into one of our regional offices or territories within the United States. You will work jointly with Timken teams such as sales, quality, manufacturing, and engineering to recognize customer needs and solve challenges. You will be a trusted advisor for customers by identifying and understanding problems, providing solutions, promoting Timken products, and conducting hands-on trainings as needed.
Educational Requirements/Qualifications:
- College graduate (December 2023 - May 2024).
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering degree.
- Engineering internships/co-op preferred.
- Leadership experience demonstrated in academic or extra-curricular activities.
- Ability to relocate.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
