ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists Development Application and Material Engineering groups by providing belt performance data through a process of installing prototype, sample or production belts on test equipment and accurately measuring and recording such data as belt tension, size, temperature, time to failure, etc, as well as providing a failure analysis when problems occur.
- Maintains test instructions, parameters and test data obtained on PC database.
- Calibrates and maintains calibration records for all test equipment.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED (if applicable)
- Test equipment, drill press, welding machine, lathe, milling machine, etc.
- Services equipment.
