Position Summary

The Sales Support and Marketing Intern in the IFF Division will work directly with the Branch Manager and greater team to provide the tools, information and resources needed to achieve revenue, volume and profitability objectives. The Sales Support and Marketing Internship program plays an integral role in the Kaizen culture through continual efforts of innovation and development. The position will offer greater exposure to the operation/industry by working in conjunction with the various departments and divisions to cultivate and support the success of the branch growth initiative.

Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate requests for sales collateral and marketing materials
  • Develop sales presentations; understand and clearly articulate YLA's value proposition
  • Tailor presentations to customer needs and requests based on prospect discovery work
  • Continuously learn and collaborate with all product departments and divisions
  • Provide RFI/RFP support and documentation where appropriate
  • Support and develop regional trend analysis, target prospects and lead generation productivity
  • Supports customer SOP development and implementation
  • Assists in coordination with the branch on meetings and other related activites
  • Research and gather account related information and support sales efforts in creating and maintaining the Customer Strategic Growth Plan.
  • Remain knowledgeable of strategic opportunities for the customer and proactively support the sales team in growing the account.
  • Tracks bid activity and results; awards and wins; and Sales Professional productivity
  • Conducts analysis and prepare reports to summarize and assess data including, but not limited to: gross profit, customer viability, sales results, leads, sales quotas.
  • Participate in special projects and assignments in support of the overall branch function


Qualifications Education and Experience
Eligible candidates must be active degree-seeking students who are enrolled in a relevant degree program (Transportation & Logistics, Supply Chain Management, etc.) and within 12-months of graduation.
